Eureka Timelines

A compilation of Timelapse photography and photos to create this timeline capturing various summer seasons at Eureka, Nunavut at the top of the world in Canada’s high arctic. At the northern end of Ellesmere Island sits this arctic oasis where a weather station operates year round. I’ve been lucky to be able to visit this location sitting at 80 deg northern latitude on the shores of Slidre Fiord where moments of water being still as glass suddenly become flowing ice. Capturing the enduring twenty-four hour light and the midnight sun where the sun touches the horizon as it sets and then rises for another daily cycle.
